Fisrt. Rebalancing resource consumption.
When i monitored resources spending, tentacles’ consumption is overwhelming any other resources. So, I suggest two ways to rebalancing resources. One of the solution is Tech expanding. Expand tentacle seedbed’s upgrades up to 20(Or 30) each. The other one is REAL rebalancing. I realize this is a very difficult task, so I don’t intend to push it this way.
I’ve summarized the resource consumption for you.

Orange colored one stands for limited consumptions. I wrote total amount of each resources. Yellow colored one stands for ((probably)) unlimited consumptions. Green one stands for almost not used resources.
I didn’t tested yet, but I’m sure Base Expantion and Penetration techs also have their Max levels. If i confirmed their Max levels, I’ll update this sheet soon.
*Ideas to increase Semen Usage
I have 2 ideas for increase Semen Usage for now.
- One way to spend Semen, is use the resource from battle. If players turned on specific option, use semen resource and shots ranged attack without cooldown. (Maybe 10 semens per shot is pretty expensive?)
- The other way is Boost function which increases gaining speed of (player selected resources) for ** seconds.
Or, resource trade function with little demerit also considerable option.
(ex) 1slave + 20semen =15 (selected resource)
Second. Ideas for make harder the “Base intrusion event”
Adds 1 enemies per wave until 44 enemies per wave is maximum.
(another way to avoid lag : 20 units per wave maximum and increasing average levels per wave)
example for maximum 20 units per wave)
1st attack: 4 enemies(default)
2nd attack: 4+1 enemies (subtotal: 5)
3rd attack: 4+2 enemies (subtotal: 6)
…
10th attack: 4+9enemies (subtotal: 13)
…
17th attack: 4+16 enemies (subtotal: 20)
…
20th attack: 4+16 enemies +3 levels to each unit (subtotal: 20)
